Interfaith Food Shuttle is an organization dedicated to pioneering innovative, transformative solution designed to end hunger in the community. Their vision is to feed, teach, and grow to create a hunger-free and healthy community. The Food Shuttle recovers and distributes nearly 6 million pounds of food per year and teaches skills for self-sufficiency, including culinary job skills, shopping and cooking healthy on a budget, and how to grow food.

Restrictions
Restrictions differ depending on the opportunity, so volunteers should make sure to check each one before signing up. Some programs allow for anyone 8 years old and up, but others may require the volunteer to be 18 years or older or pass a background check.
