Triangle Cares was founded in 2020 by Jim Baker, Lily Linton, and Catherine Pabalate.
Jim BakerCo-FounderAuthor of "The Adventure Begins When The Plan Falls Apart" Converting a Crisis into Company Success, Jim is a husband and father of 4. Baker has spent the last 30 years in the business world as an entrepreneur, investor, and advisor. He had a successful exit in 2014 after owning and managing a CRO and functional services company, Ockham, specializing in Oncology. During that time prior to exit, Baker grew ASG and then Ockham both organically and through M&A. Over time Baker has experience in acquiring and selling companies, working with investment bankers, private
equity, and mezzanine debt funding. In addition, he has vast experience in business branding and managing and leading people. After the sale to Chiltern International, Baker started Sumus Development Group, an advisory business focused on operational excellence, exit strategy and marketing. In addition, Baker is an active investor in the business community. |
Lily LintonCo-FounderAs a senior at Cardinal Gibbons High School, Lily Linton is a leader in her school community. She is the president of her school's business and entrepreneurship club called iCube. As the president, she manages the leadership team and oversees all events. Through iCube, she founded a Women in Business program to educate high school girls about the business world and has been running the program for a year. Linton is also involved in service and is on the leadership team of Cardinal Gibbon's service club, Franciscan Youth International. Through Franciscan Youth International, Linton co-ran a service day to Catholic Parish Outreach and co-organized a virtual walk for St. Jude's.

Catherine PabalateCo-FounderAs a senior at Cardinal Gibbons High School, Catherine Pabalate dedicates numerous hours to being a leader in service and in the community. She is on the leadership team of her school's business and entrepreneurship club called iCube. In iCube, she co-runs the club's workshop program, which helps Cardinal Gibbons students prepare for the business world and build entrepreneurial strategies, and she is one of the head social media managers for the club as well. She has also spent two years on the Note in the Pocket Teen Board working to clothe and care for children in the Wake County area, as well as connect with many other nonprofit owners and leaders in Wake County. Pabalate furthers her service work through her school's Lancer Club, which is a club dedicated to helping people in need within the community. Lastly, Pabalate works on the leadership team of the Justice and Equity for Students Club in order to foster acceptance in her community and promote and celebrate diversity.
